VOLUNTEERING...is it for you?

What is your area of interest in the arts?

Do the wizards of stage-sets fascinate you?

Can you make a better squeaky door?

What about all those pieces of art on the walls? Do you have a great eye for drawing them?

How about spending some time at the ACS office and help us make sure everybody gets everything they need?

Can you spend a couple of hours getting the information for Spotlight sorted-out?

Every theatre event, every music event, visual display, performing art program needs people to put it together. Volunteer people.

We invite you, all of you, to participate in the arts events happening all year long. A few hours here, a couple of ideas there, and your volunteering will help put on the best productions in Surrey.

ACS Volunteer Apprenticeship Program

The Arts Council of Surrey is introducing a Volunteer Apprenticeship Program.

Have you ever thought you would like to assist at one of our theatre projects, be part of our visual arts team, help out at the ACS office, or contribute a few hours pulling together the Spotlight newsletter?

The Volunteer Apprenticeship Program is designed so that you will learn about what the Arts Council does, and helps you to decide which area(s) you would like to assist.

You will receive hands-on training that is appropriate to your time, energy level, and physical capability.

After completing the program, you will be awarded a Certificate of Community Service.

Watch this page for start-up dates.
