EXHIBITION STATEMENT | Our free, arts-based program Belinda’s Connection Café, was created in March of 2022 to connect 55+ seniors through creativity and community.

‘Connection’ is the most important word in the name; we’ve welcomed over 175 seniors between the ages of 55 and 95 to our monthly, morning workshops to date. Along with light refreshments, folks have enjoyed silk-dyeing, story-telling, music & movement, painting, Indigenous drum making, henna, wreath-making, book binding, drawing, karaoke, journaling, drumming, bhangra and kathak dance, soapstone carving, sewing rope bowls, collage and more.

This month, we proudly show you some of the artwork created at our workshops. We hope you enjoy the exhibit as much as our Belinda’s Connection Café participants have enjoyed expressing their creativity over the last 4 years.
