EXHIBIT STATEMENT | There are at least 14 major cultural groups identified by traditional territories in the Pacific Northwest, and the persistence in cultural memory of these living traditions span from "time immemorial" - dating back thousands of years.
As a format, silkscreen printing is highly reflective of the richness and diversity of this Indigenous Art, and the different Northwest Coast cultures that inform it.
